Here's the interview with Richard and Judy from this morning: http://www.itv.com/lifestyle/thismorning/showbiz/richardandjudy/

Richard even seemed less annoying than usual. Interesting too how they saw the move to London as a fresh start for them both - without it perhaps they'd have left even sooner.

I think you're probably right. I suspect the move to London, was also to get 'better' guests on?

Fern's busy doing her bike ride in Jordan so she won't be back this week. She appeared in a pre-recorded VT today during Phil's cookery section.

And looked like she'd aged about 10 years in the last 10 weeks.

Yes, that's never been a secret and they mentioned that too, saying how guests basically had to take virtually a full day out of their schedule to get up to Liverpool for the show - and how towards the end they had lots of problems with flights being cancelled.

I daresay the move was also not coincidental to the fact that Granada had just snapped up LWT either.

I doubt they'd have made 21 years if they'd stayed at Liverpool the way regional studios have vanished in recent years.

could anyone please post a video or link of the opening used when r&j were on? Thanks!

Kate Thornton and Peter Andre are hosting todays show. Peter is doing an OK job for the experience he has, Kate is very good. I think they missed a trick getting Holly (who I do like a lot) and putting Kate on Loose Women. Kate also has the journalistic edge which has come across a lot, it would look better than Holly sat there looking a bit vacant.

That has to be one of the funniest things I've read in a long time... Journalistic credibility and Kate Thornton are two concepts I never thought would be linked.

Do you know how she broke into the industry and did you actually watch today? She is a very good interviewer and looks like something is actually going on in her head.

All i know Kate for is being editor of Smash Hits magazine, presenting Pop Idol Extra and then X Factor. I think she suits The Morning very well, interms of dealing with celebs and live tv.

Nope, but I don't need to have worked with her to get an impression on how well she interviews.
