That announcer was probably an avid fan of Holly and Fern Go Dating then.

I thought Fern would be a tough act to follow, but Holly is fantastic on the show. I had my doubts about whether she could handle the serious stuff they often talk about, but she's doing a really great job. I am completely happy to eat my hat.

I think she is good at the more serious stories but they've actually been quite clever the way Phil now takes the lead with serious stories and Holly the lead with showbiz stories. It is a very good balance indeed and they have good chemistry. Albeit it will never be as good as Phil & Fern, but it could be much much worse at the minute and Holly has proven herself well enough.

Slip of the tongue. It was always "Phillip & Fern", never "Fern & Phillip". Now its "Holly & Phillip".

That said though I'm pretty sure Phillip was so insistent on Holly getting the job so he gets credited first on the credits. As they seem to do them alphabetically, he was always second with Fern and Ruth, and presumably Lorraine too.

I think its done alphabetically with surnames, S is obviously after B, K and L but before W. Its just a coincidence that the first names are also in the same alphabetical order.

After her first week, I think that Holly is doing a grand job, her & Phil seem to be working greatly together, and it has been nice to give time for some funny items, such as the embarrasing incidents emails & stories, the black pudding throwing & the world record breakers. She's fitted in right at home, isn't talking over Phil, but is asking great questions during all interviews including the serious stories.

Interesting note that Phil added on his twitter the other day that the percentage of men watching this morning has increased, I wonder why?

Seems that Lambie-Nairn designed the new titles and identity for the programme.

Judging by the comments, obviously people can't wait for them to return. /sarcasm.
