You would think that Holly would need Fridays off for Xtra Factor rehersals and Dancing on Ice come January.

Interesting that it says that it will involve a revamp to the programme, whether this be visually or editorially is any ones guess, hopefully it will involve a bit of both. I don't see much wrong with the programme the features that they have all seem to work & can't see the point in changing them much, but every one has to make their mark.

When This Morning re launched with Colleen & Twiggy at the helm did it change much editorially or was it mainly the look & feel of the programme?

The Sun reported a few days ago it was being revamped with 'A remixed theme tune and brand new set'

Remixed theme? Hopefully it'll just be a upgrade with simple instruments to bring it up to date. The weird thing is after the current tune has been used for I'd imagine 18-19 years of the shows history it still works as well today as it did back in the late 80's early 90's.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with the set, though it will always look the same based on the shape, the windows & the amount of areas needed to be used.

anyone catch it this morning? Thought holly did really well - her and Phil make a good team!

I have to agree with you see was good. Better than I thought. She was shie at the being but got stronger through the show.

I caught some of it - thought she was really good.

It won't be the same without Fern but Holly gets the thumbs up from me.

Seemed understandably nervous, but competent and will obviously take time to really settle in. I wouldn't say it was forced today, but she was definitely the new girl.

I thought Fern would be a tough act to follow, but Holly is fantastic on the show. I had my doubts about whether she could handle the serious stuff they often talk about, but she's doing a really great job. I am completely happy to eat my hat.

Anyone here the continuity mistake just after the break for the news where the announcer said "And now back to This Morning with Holly and Fern...Phillip".

I thought someone might say Fern instead of Holly at some stage, but never confuse Fern for Phil!
