One name stands out to me there - Emma Forbes.

Now that would be a partnership! Perfect chemistry with Phil.. plus they go back in history on Going Live and Talking Telephone Numbers.

Only problem would be that she's now Alan Carrs sidekick on their new Radio 2 Saturday show.

She could easily get out of that by ringing up somebody's grandfather.

Emma presented the short-lived BBC rival to This Morning, called The Club (i think). She was presenting solo but I didn't think she suited the programme at the time.

How did Holly do when she presented last year? She's supposed to be quitting the Xtra Factor.

She's doing The Xtra Factor - she confirmed it last week I think.

I'm surprised she's back... i would have thought they'd want another change around, but I think she's been the best so far.

As for This Morning, Nikki Chapman perhaps? She seems to have done presenting here and there, like Soapstar Superchef etc

Even Fiona Phillips is preferable to her.

As for Holly Willoughby - she was very well received when she did her one day last year, but I'd think with a new born baby and her being at the beginning of her career that at the moment it's probably not right for her.

Would it not be a safe bet that Ruth will get the main job and present 5 days a week, with Phillip staying for 4 as usual.

I think they need to revitalise the programme though, someone like Emma Forbes will bring some much needed hype and energy back.

Was it not a safe bet for GMTV that Kate would get the main job and that someone else would be drafted in as a secondary (rather than them being equal)?

Probably safe to expect a newish face.

Well for me Kate presents Mondays and Tuesdays, and alternate Wednesdays are the main team with Ben.

I quite like Ruth, so i hope she does.

Why is that a problem?

Emma Forbes as co-presenter is a great idea though - proven chemistry. The same with Sarah Greene

Because This Morning is on at the weekend? Think about it.
