Its too dark, it makes it look like a late night show. if it was pink or something else similar and bright they might have just got away with it. It looks like they've attempted to go for a classy/homely look (especially with the wallpaper behind Andrea/Jane) and recreate the set before the blue one but it has failed dramatically. It will look dreadful by the time summer comes back around.
Burgundy does
not
suit Loose Women at all. It looks horrible.

Didn't Philip say that when he was doing an interview on This Morning recently, that him and Fern found themselves watching the boats go past on the river if the interview was quite boring.
I liked the london skyline view because if the conversation got boring you could watch the traffic instead

Well biggest complaint about the new look is Ruth's new hair and face.
Not overly keen on the graphics, and though unsure of the theme at first, good to see they had the bottle to actually do it considering recent revamps of other shows have been barely noticeable. Notice though there is a toned down version used for the end credits, so I wouldn't be too surprised if that was there as Plan B should the opening theme not be well received. The break bumpers are a bit boring too.
Set wise - not really much they could do with it I suppose - they'll always want to make the most out of the views, and indeed should probably be grateful ITV haven't moved them into a cupboard somewhere. Indeed the This Morning set is probably one of the biggest sets for that type of show around.

I think Ruth's new hair look really suits her!

I agree about Ruth's new hair, looks very nice.
I love the new version of the title music, and as Brekkie says I'm also glad that they had the bottle to do something with it, and I like it. I like the style that they've gone for very different for this morning, but it works quite well. I like how the titles have gone back to being about the features, though I do like how they start with a polaroid style photo of the presenters. I wonder if they done mixed versions, surely there will be points where Holly or Phil can't present & the other one ends up presenting with either Eamonn or Ruth.
I'm not sure about the set seeing it on screen, it would have been nice to have done a bit more with the other areas, even the kitchen is exactly the same, I wasn't expecting a lot after seeing the shots, but a bit more would have been nice, unless they are saving some bits until Phil returns with Holly.
I quite liked the way Eamonn described the first two weeks as a ship getting its sea trials before Holly & Phil board in two weeks time. I wonder if it's because Holly can't do the first two weeks, or whether it's to get the viewers used to the new look before bringing in Holly.
I do like the little things about the show like the different themed graphical looks for each section, and the many different photo backgrounds, it all looks very nice & neat together.
I do however agree with Brekkie about the stings into the break, they could have been more creative, though saying that for the past few series the stings have started by being graphical before being replaced by the logo over shots of the river & surrounding areas. It's also the end of the brilliantly created musical sting into & out of the breaks, where by the break one would end on a low note (as though it's sad that it's going) before coming back with the high notes.
Anyway, enough of that, overall, a thumbs up from me!
