Why the lack of excitement over Christmas this year? lots of little threads with hardly any interest are being started up and ignored but no one seems to have started an Official Christmas Ident thread yet. This must be the latest ever for one to have started. There's usually gossip galore and speculation over what will appear on screen by now. Come on guys.....we can talk about boring things all year! Let's get Christmas started. It will cheer me up anyway after such a crappy year and I know a certain Mr Havard will be thrilled.

It's December 1st next Thursday. Come on then, who's going to get the ball rolling!

As far as I remember this forum is taking the same pace as it did last year with the Schedules/Ident threads opening first. We should start The Official Christmas Ident thread next week sometime.

Why? TV Listings (preliminary) are being released tomorrow so why not start talking about it!

Well, that all depends on whether shops are open on Christmas Day or not, doesn't it? Smile

I presume Asa, or one of the Mods will be starting a sticky as soon as the new schedules are released.....or if there is a hint of anything special in terms of presentation being rumoured by any of the major broadcasters.

It will be interesting to see what C4 do this year, after all they have "re-vamped" the main channel and launched another this year.....so they may have interesting plans (unless their coffers are low on funds after all that Confused )

Maybe when we do get a sticky it can have a poll asking who we think (out of the main ones) will produce the best Xmas idents/presentation? Very Happy

EDIT: I can't see us getting anything new out of the ITV channels this year in view of their intended relaunch with Red Bee next year. I suppose we will have to settle for the logo wrapped in "barbed-wire" again (very enticing and festive Embarassed )
