Women have equal rights, and there's a growing number of househusbands and career women! And what about those that are disabled and can't work as well?

I never suggested that women don't have equal rights, that's got nothing to do with it. What I'm saying is that women make up the majority share of the audience on daytime telly, because there are more of them sat on their arses being "housewives". Fact.

And everyone's capable of work. The disabled included. Look at Blunkett and Hawking for evidence.

That's a very simpistic viewpoint isn't it?

It is, yes. But whatever the circumstances, the fact remains that people aren't contributing anything to society by virtue of the very fact that they're watching daytime telly. I don't have much time for people who contribute nothing to society.

What about people who work nightshifts? In what way does day time TV differ from evening TV when it comes to people contributing to society?

I bet they have to be helped - Hawking uses a computer, because typing is just about all he can do. Would he have been working if he was in that condition 30 years ago? Probably not.

Arrow The editing of films for strong language and violence when they are shown in the middle of the night (BBC especially)

Is it me or have BBC1 stopped cutting their films. I remember watching Friday the 13th part VIII a few years ago on BBC1 and all the horror was cut out which not only made the film about 15 minutes long, but also made it pointless to watch.

However, I watched a horror a few weeks ago called Deep Rising and it did seem uncut, with lots of gore and strong lanugaue (Hurrah!), but as I've not seen the original version, I may be wrong.

I bet he wouldn't have been sat watching House Invaders though
