ISTR that someone here said that it counted as a regional programme, as it's bought and broadcast individually by the independent companies, in this case HTV.
Yes I know that but its not about Wales and doesnt have anything to do with Wales - programmes made by HTV or Carlton for ITV1 Wales etc are regional programmes - SS is an import which is semi=networked now as 5 regions are showing the same eps.

No whataday - SS doesnt count as its not local - ie made in Wales for Welsh viewers.

Must have been the same "someone here" who mentioned that SS was a regional programme!
No it wasnt as a matter of fact.

Well someone here said the local news bulletins were about 2 hrs a week excluding the 6pm one so its not my fault I underestimated it.

You missed out the GMTV and lunchtime bulletins - or are they not included cos they are within other programmes like GMTV and the ITV News - in that case the late news wouldnt be included as thats often shown during News @ Ten

Oh, and as for reaching the 10hrs a week tally, I think you underestimated the time the HTV bulletins take up.
Weekdays: 1055-1100 ; 1505-1515 ; 2320-2327 [shall we say 7 mins -- times vary]
Equals 22mins x 5 = 110mins
Saturday: 1305-1310 ; 1700-1715
Sunday: 1355-1400 ; 1635-1655
Equals 45mins
So that's 2hrs 35mins.. Or 9hrs 35mins. The 10 hours figure is a weekly average over a year. As we have seen, some weeks are very regional, and will make up for those weeks that aren't.

Drama Nos Sul
I think that's another Ident I haven't seen. Do you happen to have any caps of it?
http://www.tvhome.co.uk/Images/S4C/thumb%20S4C%20Ident%20Eye%20Widescreen.jpg
TV Home has the ident, calling it "Eye". It's used before the programme at 9pm on Sundays, and it's a bit twisted and bizarre. There are also 2 versions of it. Tomorrow it's Amdani, a few weeks ago it was Treflan.
I wouldn't have a clue how to park that either! Oh yeah, and the small issue of not knowing how I'd afford one in the first place, but anyway.. Cars like that are wasted in the city -- it looks nice there twisting along a country road. And OMG, it's pictured driving on the left!
Wonder what car Sara Edwards has -- doesn't she show her face down your way, Jamez? I haven't seen her on WT for months..
Sara doesn't quite have the car you'd imagine her having. It's VERY old.

I don't like estates, they look too bulky and long. Saying that my car is 14 ft long which is a bugger to park!

*Cough* Ah yeah that's right -- I think Sara's family are from Maesteg
TV Dragon I live quite near to Maesteg - its not far from Swansea really!
Swansea is quite a distance from Maesteg (it's where I work).
I know
. Takes me an hour to get from west Swansea to Maesteg, and then a good deal more to get to the villages around it. I don't know why Jez thinks this, but then he lives in Neath I think -- he may go that way over the top and down -- missing out the motorway. It is easier to go along the M4 though from Swansea, despite what my family choose to do, and go via the paper mill
I'll never understand my family anyway -- pointless trying.
My condolences for you having to work there -- Maesteg seems to have become dodgier and dodgier of late. In fact I despair with a lot of Wales to be honest. One day I may live in Cardiff, but judging by the stories of the damn midges everyone gets round the Bay every summer, it's enough to put anyone off!
Sara drives a crappy car then?
She must be spending her millions on other vices then..

You could all move to Pembrokeshire
The houses are expensive, the people are retired Londoners, The local radio station is pants, and you have to pay 75p to cross the bridge to get to Milford Haven and Haverfordwest! grr

What's so bad about Londoners'?
Pah, you out there in Wales don't know the meaning of expensive houses try paying £250,000 for an average house! (The sooner this property crash comes the better!)
Bet the radio station wasn't pants when you worked there Jamie! Try the London stations - and someone tell me if they can find an FM station which plays anything from before 1998!
Soon we'll have to pay a fiver just to go into the centre of town! Mind we have the Underground which despite all its many flaws is the best way to get around London.
