Well im off out to a twmpath later so I'll have to leave it in the very capable hands of Jez and TV Dragon.
Do the Welsh tv stations bother with St Davids Day Idents? The last ones i can remember were on HTV back in 1997! S4C usually adapt some of theirs to include a harp/daffodil/welsh hat etc!
I saw a report about the whisky on an S4C programme -- called 'Welsh Gold' isn't it? Disgusting stuff anyway.
Last year there were a couple of St David's day programmes on HTV with associated special trails. Don't think there've been any this year, but as usual HTV seem to have gone with Barry Welsh [or a clone of his] for their nod towards the day, tomorrow.
But I don't get it, he's as funny as a poke in the eye.
I can't see any BBC Wales programmes lined up tomorrow, but S4C are showing the final and results of their 100 Welsh Heroes -- yet *another* programme presented by Sarra Elgan. That must be two dozen this year already.
S4C are running special St David's trails and pieces of random film though, and that magic hat ident will probably be dug out again with the daffodils.
From what I remember of the brand name featured on Reporting Scotland, it was something like "Pentewyn", or similar, and sounded like the name of a Cardiff suburb.

Yes apparently it's called Penderyn, I've just looked it up [as opposed to Pentwyn, Cardiff]. I saw a bottle on that programme called 'Aur Cymru' though. Hmmm.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/739505.stm I also just found an old BBC story a few years ago saying how the Scottish were annoyed at the Welsh whisky getting funding. But I mean, calm down already, it's not like you don't have the monopoly on it. Some people.

But we own the monopoly on dragons though surely? Nothing better than roast dragon, gravy and Pembrokeshire new potatoes
I thought the dragon was associated with St George's day?
Welcome back A Majot Setup! I hpe you arent going to cause anymore upset on this thread?
Not long to go now.............
I didn't go anywhere!
I've been rather busy of late what with trying to get one of my housemates evicted, selling my car, completing coursework, visiting the dentist, optician etc.
