Dont you mean 300

No.

Read the <expletive deleted> script, <expletive deleted>!

I was the official launcher of page 200, with that excellent cowboy chappie as my warm-up man.

We simply want to know if we're needed AGAIN for page 300 in a day or two.

It was great to see Andrew Jones present the weekend news bulletin.

He is the best weekend news presenter at the weekend!

PS did anyone see the old url for the weather?

itv.com/htvwalesweather

?

This thread is filled with many quality contributions that fail to reach the eyes of many TV forumers.

While I approve of these threads for on-going discussions in subjects that don't deserve threads, I do feel alot of things regarding Welsh television presentation and programming would do perfectly well in a thread of there own, Wales Yesterday, for example, as the near 300 page quantity puts many off and these threads become rather clique, with those opening up new threads getting the responses "It's being discussed in the Wales Thread".

Is a single thread including a years worth of Welsh TV news appropriate when we have a whole forum available for use?

I totally agree - maybe there should be forums within forums?

IE a forum for wales, scotland, ireland etc and then maybe other forums dedicated to itv, bbc and then 'others' also all other generic mass debates could still happen within the main forum though.

PS why are you looking so forward to Wales Yesterday? I saw it yesterday and wasnt THAT impressed! A cheap version of the popular HTV series .....Remember <insert year here>

It's just the BBC copying yet another popular HTV series.

I agree, shall I start a separate thread and call it "HTV News with Lucy Cohen" Laughing

Why not just create an HTV thread?

I saw the 5pm bulletin, however I wouldnt go as far as to say that Andrew is the best weekend presenter. He didnt pronounce Cwmllynfell correctly for a start Rolling Eyes

I thought Andrew pronounced all the words correctly and was pleasantly surprised how well he did! In the past Llanelli has always come out as 'clanelli' but today he was very precise with the pronounciations.

Andrew breezed through that bulletin without batting an eyelid - most weekends I get nervous just watching the weekend news presenter!

He is better than he used to be reading the news, still dont see why we have to have him on Mon-Wed doing GMTV bulletins, with it being the holidays ive slept later and missed GMTV this week Laughing I'll be up for work Monday though, fingers crossed its Justina reading the GMTV bulletins.

As Andrew is presenting tomorrow and reported on the six oclock news on friday - you might be right Jez.

You might have to wake up with Justina!

I thought it was ok to be honest, a bit busy with all three presenters just lurking -- not something that often happens on Wales Today. And Derek just bouncing a tennis ball was bizarre.

I did like the atmospheric lighting of the studio though, and how they did the sky behind Jamie. HTV's 'atmospheric effects' were just Arfon looking shady in the dark with loads of dust.

Nice to see John Humphrys and Vincent Kane in some of the packages, which I thought were interesting -- especially the mad nationalist wanting the death penalty for everyone.
