Christmas eve then, and Wiggy [nee Arfon] Haines-Davies was the founder of Welsh tv almost 85 years ago, and has continued to be *the* face of HTV throughout 2003.
From two series of Prize Possessions to Remember.. [insert year here], to programmes for the Eisteddfod -- Wiggy has had trains, engines, antiques and old dusty footage to keep himself amused, and a nation *gripped* with interest.

ITV seem to be the only terrestrial broadcaster whom have actually made anything new whereas other channels have opted to repeat previous year's idents!
I have just seen the generic news ident and its the best Christmas ident I have seen in the last few years!

Well done to everyone at ITV - how about an ITV1Wales breakbumper?
So much better than last year's fireworks but essentially the same idea but not deviating too far from the current brand and style of idents!
PS nice to see a Christmassey end credit background aswell:-

I thought you'd emigrated? They're all from the same programme that's why, from when Arfon visited the Eisteddfod.
So Christmas in Wales then ~

There are others for S4C~, but they're not really up to the usual standard to be honest.
Wrong. BBC TWO have added a new ident to their previous two, and S4C~ have a completely new package of trails, bumpers and idents. And in my opinion, the four Carlton Christmas idents were *far* superior to this year's ITV effort.
And while I'm in an argumentative mood, you keep incorrectly using the word "whom", it's quite bizarre.
Also, in the Welsh, capital "ell", as opposed to "el", is <Ll>, not <LL>.

You're a witch, aren't you? I've read books on you, and I don't like it. You're into chicken sacrifice I'll bet.
Whoever you are, and whether you are Mark today or ohwhatawitch instead, you write exactly the same way as he does, have the same style, and your captures are from the same place. You have taken his hand, or are you in fact the same poster as before, but you are fighting your inner demon? Two people with the same fingers and mind. It adds up now.
If you are not ohwhatanight, you do a very good impression of him. Is there something on witchery in the terms and conditions? I'll consult someone from admin shortly.

Yes I am only here in the capacity of capturing images for him on his pc!
Maybe the fact that I am also his brother may be a crucial factor in the type of posts and his geekness rubbing off on the posts!
Right I think my time here is done!
Im awaiting the next email as what to record next for him!

Maybe you need to ask your dentist?
Talking of which, how come HTV Wales is doing a series on general medical practioners (yet again?), but never does a show about dentists? (Or am I seriously in error?)
The only English TV show I can think of that featured a dentist was a networked ATV comedy which got pulled after the very first episode.
