YAY for the TV Forum!

I think you'll find that the Wales Thread does not condone acts of propaganda, and such a move is a backward step in the opinion of the Peanut Branding Workshop™.

The Workshop™ suggest alternative arrangements be made, given the HTV logo is the only logo to have been updated since the events of nearly a year ago.

Apologies for the crudeness, but then it was made by a dog.

Dai, renaming this thread has led to it drop to page 3!

No no, I renamed it probably only minutes before you posted.
I decided, you see, in *celebration* of today's anniversary a year ago, that there should be a pointless rebranding of the thread. Only for me to change it back soon afterwards.

If you can tear yourselves away from Eastenders on Thursday, Sara Edwards has a new series starting at 7.30 on BBC TWO Wales [not 2W] where she's jumping on the <going round Wales> bandwagon, joining Jamie and his boat, Nicola and her plane, Trevor Fishlock and his awful clothes, and Coast To Coast too.

Sara's theme is visiting all the old counties of Wales [who remembers Caernarfonshire and Meirioneth? No, neither do I]. She's starting with Radnorshire, which I believe is Lembit Opik-land. It seems Wales as a region is very keen on programmes touring the local countryside. All those programmes I mentioned on BBC and HTV have had several series -- the only ones I can think of outside of Wales are Dales' Diary, My Westcountry and the marvellously dated Weir's Way.

Also, Andrew Jones tells me Peanut has been *celebrating* the anniversary as well, by finding himself a new home. Ahhh.

Great news on the Peanut front, as he officially moved in with his new owner.

Lucy was so delighted, she didn't even need to check the desk for the website address!

Yes, Peanut has chosen this first anniversary of the propaganda to leave the HTV news -- and what a lovely mad woman he has chosen as well.

And Lucy was clearly feeling the force, what with the website and great enthusiasm for this happy day -- even Justina said Peanut was a celebrity. And just a few weeks ago Peanut was in a complete state.

While we look forward to having Peanut on the new titles, we must now however be on the look out for the next symbol of anti-propaganda to fill the gap -- we don't want any more *incidents*.

Meanwhile on the BBC, Helen Willetts returns home for the weather for Wales this evening -- I'm sure all the forecasts are recorded though, it seemed like it -- and considering she's doing the national weather too.

OMG Shocked why has this thread been renamed! Shocked I would have preferred if you called it "HTV News with Lucy Cohen and Jonathan Hill" as 90% of the discussion here is HTV News and ITV1 Wales Wink

It was nice to see Justina reporting on the peanut story tonight! Very Happy

It's only for one day, Jez, as I said. And I disagree on the second point [despite how much you'd like it to be true].
