That sounds like that story about the kids that are reporting cars parking on the school lines and writing down their number plates. But that was in Swansea, Waunarlwydd I think -- perhaps Maesteg are jumping on the bandwagon. Why on earth did you get that email?

No idea. Confused

Oh dear god, I think I've just seen the *crappest* story HTV have ever decided to report on. Some mad Scottish woman who reckons her gate post is singing. For goodness sake.

When the wind picks up, she says it starts singing -- whereas to anyone else still managing to retain full use of their faculties, it's just making a dull hollow noise. The newsreader wasn't impressed.

That story's going to be *fantastic* on the main news later..

Hi guys

I managed to catch the last of this mornings GMTV bulletins with Richard Morgan - he is very good isnt he, much better than some of the other male presenters.

Wonder whats happened to Sally? She often does Thurs/Fri!

EDIT - I noticed Sally did the lunchtime news today - I wonder why this week some days we have had a different presenter for GMTV and Lunchtime as its normally the same

Just thought I would record it here that HTV's Zoe Tape and Rhodri Davies have both just filed reports on the ITV News Channel.

Annoyingly Zoe was called "HTV's Zoe Tate" and also the graphics read Zoe Tate!

There was no distinguishing between HTV Wales or West - just "HTV's Zoe Tate reports"

Emmerdale lives on - on the ITV News Channel!

Im sure ITV News Channel will be using that reports for a few hours to come yet! I wonder if they will change it?

I'm sure they will, what with the amazing influence this thread has on proceedings, as history indeed shows. The latest being that 'singing' gate post I mentioned above, which was dropped after HTV clearly realised their folly.

People have been mithered nearly 50 000 times by clicking on this thread, so I'm sure, Owan, that the error will be rectified with *immediate* effect.

Oh, while I'm here, Fiona Phillips was on Popcorn yesterday and she says she thinks of Wales as 'home' and goes back every three weeks to visit her Welsh-speaking mother in Fishguard.

But we still like Sara more.

LOL I actually thought her name was "Zoe Tate" when she first joined HTV as a reporter a few years back! It was ages before I realised it was infact Zoe Tape.

I saw that singing gatepost thing on the GMTV bulletins yesterday although it was dropped when Sally read the lunchtime news I think. What a load of crap that story was.

Where can I get the "single" of the Singing Gate number?

It is planned to release an album?

A quick reminder that HTV News bulletins today are slightly different to normal Saturdays and will be shown at 2.25pm and 5.05pm. The presenter is Andrew Jones.

Thanks Jez but I still managed to miss them!

I wonder what Andrew Jones will be like with the sports' results in the early evening bulletin? His pronounciation of some Welsh place names can be quite humourous somtimes!

PS Whilst clearing out my hard-drive I found this story from Wales On Sunday a few weeks ago reporting on the story that BBC Wales part-time news reader and Radio Wales broadcaster Jason Mohamad attacked the Wales On Sunday newspaper. Of course Wales On Sunday replied with this story:-
