It probabaly isnt essential they speak Welsh but I was interested if anyone knows if any of the HTV presenters/announcers etc speak Welsh.

On HTV? I very much doubt it. Why would they need to? All of the programmes for the channel and announcements are in English. The only welsh programmes they make are for S4C, so they'd probably hire welsh speakers specificly for those programmes.

I think that's another Ident I haven't seen. Do you happen to have any caps of it?

TV Home has the ident, calling it "Eye". It's used before the programme at 9pm on Sundays, and it's a bit twisted and bizarre. There are also 2 versions of it. Tomorrow it's Amdani, a few weeks ago it was Treflan.
I wouldn't have a clue how to park that either! Oh yeah, and the small issue of not knowing how I'd afford one in the first place, but anyway.. Cars like that are wasted in the city -- it looks nice there twisting along a country road. And OMG, it's pictured driving on the left!
Wonder what car Sara Edwards has -- doesn't she show her face down your way, Jamez? I haven't seen her on WT for months..

You're more likely to see Jamie Owen down my way, he's from Pembroke Dock, which is just a couple of miles from me.
I've seen him walking into Tescos as I was walking out laden with carrier bags of Kronenbourg and fags while trying to remember where I parked!
Back in 1998 he presented Wales Today live from the Cleddau bridge, and I was there - and got his autograph. "To James and Naomi, best wishes, Jamie Owen"

*Cough* Ah yeah that's right -- I think Sara's family are from Maesteg, which is near where my family are from -- getting it a touch confused there.
To be honest, I know Sara's been on WT for over 15 years now and is "main anchor" [when she turns up], but Jamie is still the top class presenter of the show. It could be him and Derek every day for all I care, Claire and Jason can stick to 2W.
I have no-one's autograph that I like, just Kilroy and 4 Gladiators. Wooooo
. I can't bear Kilroy now, I got that when he came to our school was I was 8.
Oh, and TIITV1W [long username there -- were you someone else before?], it's a bit freaky I guess, don't know what the designer was eating at the the time.. painted black men with sticks for arms floating off the floor and blood spilling from the eye which turns into ink on the page -- but I don't think you'll be cowering behind a cushion. Check it out tomorrow, it is rather nice -- and very long, about 20 seconds before the CA is allowed to speak!

Couldn't agree more, it would scare the hell out of me too. Got to watch it Sunday now though just to see it.
