That makes no sense, unless they're planning to run the US version?
Yes it does as the original is called The Voice Of Holland. Maybe the US version will air on BBC3? After all the US X Factor will be on ITV2 in a few weeks.

I thought they were delaying it until the original X Factor finished?

So did I but they'll be showing it a couple of days after the US transmission.

That's different though, as 'The Voice of Holland' means 'The Best Voice in Holland', The Voice UK, just means (UK version of US hit).

I see what you mean. Originally the US version was going to be called The Voice Of America. We'll all just end up calling it The Voice anyway.
A voice over says "A different kind of singing competition is coming to BBC One" followed by ever possible cliché they could think of. This is a joke, right? The BBC really shouldn't be making this programme.
Firstly, it appears according to the Mirror (not the most Credible Source I know) that the BBC are in talks with Lenny Kravitz US Rock singer over a judging role in the programme:
It also seems Danni Minnouge is being linked with Britain's Got Talent presumbly ruling her out of the running.

If the first story is true then I think it is a mistake, I doubt The Voice will be looking for a Rockstar so why have one judging it. speaking of Judges has anyone got any suggestions on the panel? or heard anything?
I just have some feeling that the BBC will not give this show the treatment is deserves for them to get a big hit Saturday night show. For example, compare 'The X Factor' to 'So You Think You Can Dance'.
The amount of money pumped into 'The X Factor' is unbelievable with big names, large studio sets and it seems that ITV just know how to make Saturday night telly. Compared to 'SYTYCD' - much smaller schedule for example, only 2 audition shows and then the live shows just seem to be boring and have no atmosphere with a small set and a tiny audience.
I just hope that the BBC give The Voice the amount of money an attention that it deserves.
