For fear of looking really stupid, can somebody answer a question for me.
What has happened to this program tonight. Did I miss something. I thought they said it was for four nights at 9pm. Tonight I put BBC 2 on at 9 and it was some party girls thing. I check the text and it says The verdict 9.50. So I put it on at 9.55 coz I lost track of time and at 10 it finishes???????????
There is some repeat of highlights later on BBC 2 but they made some brief mention of tomorrow night. WHAT. Why tomorrow night, or is it tonight. Does anyone know?
I realise that I am probably the only one interested in it but I've watched it for three nights and the last is obviously the most important so am I being thick or what?
What a rip, don't you think? What is the point in anyone watching closely to see things they've already seen.
I felt the same over Castaways years ago. Continuety and routine are everything, we all have lives and these things either fit in with our lives or not.
From what I understood they always billed it as over four nights. Why would I need to corroborate what they were saying on the trailers? And I obviously wasn't the only one.

Yes, four nights. Not four
consecutive
nights ?
You made an assumption, it proved to be incorrect, you can see the final episode tomorrow. Nobody died.
Apart from anything else a jury wouldn't begger off for a day or two. The whole purpose of it is to feel the closest to a jury experience that we can and how we all judge each other in every day life.
And I'll add to why I was disappointed by the program billing. I was getting quite heated because it was demonstrating how judgemental we all are.
I didn't see any evidence presented to prove guilt. The jurors were starting to enter the realms of fantasy and I wanted this to be a big ratings program so that loads of people got to see how judgemental we all are. It's all actors but it demonstrates how easily we all draw conclusions about each other without really thinking about the consequenses of being so horrible.
Mind you being judgemental isn't a criminal offence.

I do think that rape was a bad subject though.
Jury's are often discharged for a couple of days.
Agree rape was a bad subject - I'm sure we'll end up with the politically correct response.
That's why I want to know how the Consent case went!
