I'm going to be watching this, along with gypsy who will also be seeing how thing pan out

This is a great Experiments as we will see if jury people believe what there want to believe. or if the Truth will be found out

I did see the 10min preview on Wednesday night and it does look good!

although there have spread it over 4 night which I think is a bit too much!

Love it. Just hope it's going to be great and not messed up OFCOM wise or other Mary Whitehouse types!

Bet every barrister in the country is going to be watching this one, not to mention judges, solicitors, magistrates, defendants and EVERY victim of crime.

It's nothing new and nothing original - and throwing celebrities into the mix just trivialises the whole thing. Reality TV at it's tackiest!

Oh no I totally disagree. It has huge potential. This isn't Big Brother. It had to be celebrities and they are a very interesting bunch if you look at it. Portillo, Archer who's been on the wrong end of it, Patsy Kensit who I imagine will be very outspoken and impressionable, even the mother of Sarah Payne I believe is in it, correct me if I'm wrong somebody please, if she's in it then it's not going to be for fame it will be for a very good reason.

Honor Blackman, a well known personality who has stood the test of time and who will no doubt represent a generation of her time. I could go on and on.

It couldn't have been done with members of the public there simply isn't time to get to know the characters or their motives. Not that we know any of these people but we know a little which will help and I don't doubt we will be surprised to find out a little more.

Anyway celebs get called for jury service same as the rest of us. It's the first thing that's grabbed my attention since the Krakatau thing>

Not only is it over 4 nights but each show is 90minutes long. I would thought a show like this would be one hour.

Anyway didn't Channel 4 do a similar type show only a month or so ago?

If your neck was on the block would you be happy if they only took one hour to decide your fate?

Have you ever watch 12 Angry Men? I would highly recommend it, it is a brilliant film.

That was my thought when I first heard that they were using celebrities, but looking at who they have gone for i'm quite hopeful - I doubt any of them (with the exception of Archer) are looking to use it to sell their latest book/get an interview in heat.

The use of well known people just makes it easier for the audience to understand their points of view - time doesn't have to be spent explaining their backgrounds.

From watching the ten minute preview the programme does look very interesting - being unscripted in court is very fresh and I have a feeling that the jurors and the audience will be left in suspense with regards "the truth".

I don't think Archer needs to sell anymore books but I bet he's still got a gut full of hate after his ordeal so I expect a passionate performance from him or I'll be disappointed.

We might hear more sincerity fall from his mouth in this program than we ever would if he'd become Mayor of London.

The great irony being that Archer wouldn't be allowed to sit on a real jury as he's a convicted perjurer.

Absolutamundo. Great isn't it.

Mind you I don't think police officers or vicars can sit either.
