BTW is UKTV Styles timeshift channel still called + or has it gone in line with the others and called +1??

UKTV People is on the EPG. Style + is now UKTV Style +1 as are all the time-shift channels.

Every other channel in the Telewest EPG now seems to be a UKTV one!

Have they added a whole load of +1 channels or something?

The only channel that hasnt been updated in the Telewest EPG is UK Horizons and +1.

How are the UKTV channels abreviated in the Sky EPG as i doubt that UKTV Bright Ideas fits in or UKTV Documentary +1 !!

They left UKTV Bright Ideas as UK Bright Ideas
UK Style + is now UKTV Style +
UKTV Documentary and its +1 appear as UKTV Docs and UKTV Docs +1
UKTV History +1 appears as UKTV H'tory +1

What's the name of the font UKTV use?

Well I have discovered it is a custom made variation of Helvetica. The call it Home and there are a few weights used.

If anyone can help me put a font together, I can provide a full alphabet of it with numbers and limited punctuation.

I have been working on the font for a week or so now.

So they've destroyed the UK Gold brand with 11 years of history behind it, come up with a stupid new acronym that is too much of a mouthful (in paritcular having a channel called UKTVG2 is a stupid, stupid situation), and the 'more coherent' brand that was promised hasn't happened, every channel still has it's distinct look, with idents on most channels just being simple re-edits of the same thing they were using yesterday.

I don't actually think this will last long - I predict at least UK Gold being back by the end of the year; this is going to catch on about as much as 'ITV1' has.

This isn't good.... UKTV Documentary +1 is being shown on UKTV People on NTL. I am confused, but I would rather have UKTV People, as that looks good.

Otherwise it doesn't look too bad, the UKTV Gold ident looks slightly weird.

I flicked over to UKTV Documentry at 9pm and the DOG on the channel is large and th +1 DOG is even Large!! Even larger then PLAY UK's!! Havn't seen People's DOG yet, got to wait till 19:00.
