Watching a few episodes of this, some irritating factual inaccuracies in the voiceovers. Can't quite work out why Eamonn Holmes is wearing an earpiece (as is Brian Conley, only in that episode) unless it's foldback to hear the clips.

They wear them in all episodes. The guests is presumably to hear the sound of the clip.
That's right isn't it? They had the series in 1997 with the paedophilia special in 2001.
The dates are correct. The picture of the cast of The Day Today on the other hand is not.
Ah! Didn't a lot of the cast have a part in Brass Eye, or is my mind playing tricks on me?
I don't think there was a lot of crossover between the two apart from Chris Morris himself. Brass Eye tended to include people like Mark Heap, Kevin Eldon, David Cann etc who all went on to make up the bulk of the cast of (Blue) Jam.
