Tonight, a new series of the popular comdey sports quiz starts at 21:30 tonight, with at least two big
differences. The original team captains, Gary Lineker and David Gower have left the show, and have
been replaced by Phil Tufnell and David Seaman, so expect plenty of jokes about being in the
jungle and numerous gags about blokes with ponytails.

There's a regular new round about a certain over-rated pipsqueak footballer who recently moved
from Manchester to Madrid. Oh, and apparently (from what I've read in a free TV listings guide
with one of the Saturday tabloid newspapers) the set has had a minor revamp . . .

How minor a revamp? On the trailers with the cartoon versions of the teams and nick (that remind me of the canadian's in south park), they have been using a different version of the theme tune. I like it when shows make minor adjustments to follow with times.

Like Question of Sport did when Sue Barker took over full time, when they had two new captains, they had that lovely rounded set instead of the old long one.

Nice minor change to the set, they've got rid of the things in the desk in front of the guests though. Nice slight change to the backdrops and the new screens as wembley's towers arent there so they've got rid of them too.

Nice to see they've used that new music, they go into a stadium and show the clips on the big screen, and Im sure that the famous clip at the end used to be in black & white with an orange ball! Now its in colour though!

At least "They Think . . . " still has it's original presenter, unlike a certain topical news quiz!

Why did it have to be on today as I missed it?

Well, I didn't watch tonight's TTIAO and I have no intention whatsoever of watching any of the series.

It was an excellent show up to the point when Ross joined and I watched, pretty well, every one. I watched the first couple with Ross in and won't watch another until he's kicked out.

Why they have to have a bloke on there who spouts utter filth, just for the sake of spouting utter filth, is a mystery to me. It has NOTHING to do with the game and certainly adds nothing to it.

I should meet her!

Sounds like she displays an awful lot of sense.

Laughing she does - especially after a huge glass of white wine! Very Happy

I agree, I must be old before my time (checks pulse, yep still alive !!!)

They Think It's All Over used to be a clever sports based satirical comedy quiz with plenty of banter between the teams, but now it's been completely ruined by Jonathon "wibble wibble" Woss and his overwhelming desire to be the only voice heard. It didn't need to be a showcase for his dubious talent.
