is Scotsports on next monday or can ITV not be arsed putting in STV listing

There is no Scotsport next week, as there are no Clydesdale Bank games at the weekend. It's back on Monday 21 January at 10.35pm.

Also, there is another chance to see '50 Years of Scotsport' this Sunday at 3.50pm on stv.

Scotsport SPL’s running time has been slashed to one hour since the start of the year. They have obviously given up on it since they decided to axe it later this year.
I note STV are still promoting Dancing on Ice for Sunday at 6.30 and Kingdom at 9.00 p.m. The presentation department at Pacific Quay certainly get their pay cheque easy. They are even incapable of trailing their own regional shows at the correct time.

You're joking! I was only thinking the other week that Scotsport and Taggart are really the only shows that STV have kept from their overused axe.

I don't know about STV, but I would certainly be embarrased about the amount of programmes on their STV Gold show that no longer exist, or have no replacement for.

They must make a fortune in the advertising revenue they receive. Why do they not invest it in original programming anymore?

there do in fact pay towards the cost of show on ITV, so it help keep cost down.

Making original Scottish programmes wouldn't be a waste of money in my book, it would be an investment, after all it is meant to be Scottish Television.

I've always backed STV remaining independent, but if they continue to just show English ITV 1 programmes with an ident saying STV at the beginning of the show, they may as well sell off to ITV and have done with it.

well: there postcode challenge at 8pm on Mondays. and the woman who ate Scotland, and This Scotland and New Found Lands. where could there move Corrie? Emmerdale? why would there make programmes for Off peak times, that would be pointless.

there is the New 5.30pm show starts seen, for what i have seen it like UTV live, with Scottish action and Thats life?

I have a few ideas;

New comedy stand up programme? 6- 12 show form all over Scotland? could go out on a Thursday/ Friday - 11.35pm

Does the new slogan refer to the new 5.30pm show? Seems a big coincidence if not.
