I think you mean Donny. He and some others have clearly not been trained as continuity announcers, and allegedly it is all down to money. The continuity team in Glasgow desperately needs a mass clearout, apart from Colin and Cameron.
All Maggie says is:

He may be off the cuff but he does sound very Weegie (West of Scotland.....by the way big man).

I would never publicly berate any of my colleagues if I was an STV announcer.

SMG was ‘six months from bankruptcy’.

I never realised the situation was that bad (and neither did most others from the look of that report).

It would have presented a very interesting turn of events -- the television side isn't making any money, and would probably have ended up being sold for a tiny sum to ITV, who would immediately have closed most of what little is left.

I bet UTV are glad they didn't go for the reverse takeover now!!

Its Strange that there little money but tit on screen look and news is still great

I didn't know STV showed that kind of ilk.

They have new bumpers too......a light sky gradient for a background and then the stv logo without the white backing. Hmmm...

and now this

The new Emmerdale credits are now quite hard to read with this new ECP, as the who picture is screen is squashed.
