It is time for STV continuity in Glasgow to be axed and moved to Aberdeen. A fresh approach is desperately needed. The current standard of presentation is the worst ever. Apart from Colin and Cameron the rest are just not up to the job. Their Glasgowcentric announcements are unforgivable, and demonstrate exactly what regard they have for the audience outwith the central belt.
BTW, I thought STV had managed to sort out their inaccurate David Guest trailers they have been running all week. However, they have been alternating their promos all evening between Sunday at 10.15, and Sunday at 9.30.

I agree, some of the announcements I've heard on STV make me cringe - it sounds too broad with some announcers.

Over the last year or so there seem to be a couple of new announcers there that sound quite quirky and put some effort into their scripts and don't have Glasgow accents .The ones that have been there for ages are quite old hat ....This Is STV where at is .....still to come on STV ....your watching STV I. am bored on STV and can't be bothered to write anything ...this is STV and now the ITV news ....there is one guy there who is very cheesy and it sounds naff ...as for moving anything to Aberdeen never in a million yrs .I would make the most of local continuity as it will eventually go from STV .

Well done to Scotsport for giving away the result of the St Mirren v Dunfermline game in their intro to the highlights. I managed to walk through Paisley without finding it out, yet they do a Likely Lads moment and give it away.

I can see the argument if they're showing a Saturday game on Monday (although I still think they should trail it without giving away the result of every game), but it's nuts to do it tonight.

Scotsport will never be the same again in my opinion. Since they announced that those twa twats were gonnae be anchoring the show, the programme itself has slumped into decline.

I don't understand STV. They are opting out of the network tomorrow night to show a repeat of The Dame Edna Treatment, instead of showing a brand new series of Real Families. What's the point?
