Is that the guy who always has a blocked nose? And he kinda sounds like Cammy?
If so, then he really irritates me.
Don't think so. It's the bloke who is also a DJ on Clyde 2 and uses the same style on TV. Injects so much personality into the link it's nearly - but not quite - over the top. There's clips of him on The TV Room. I think he's great.

If I hear that All together catchphrase one more time, I will throw a brick at the telly. Now all together sport; now all together entertainment. What sort of announcement is that? All together, what a load of rubbish.
We did however have decent continuity tonight with the return of Cammy, despite the new ECP being broke already;all together now,hip hip hooray.
Is that Cameron McKenna you are talking about.....he is good! There are one if not two new male voices on at the moment who are also very good......it does need cheering up. The "altogether" phrase is getting me down now but should keep it for into the news links!

I guess the point of passing the “S” from one type of person/activity to another is that it culminates in the final shot of the big S with the little stv in the bottom left hand corner? So it is already starting to annoy me that they mess this up by cutting away before the end logo shot in order to get into the network – so all we see is this S being passed around!!! How difficult is it to get your timing right????

They're still having problems with their timing of the ident - it's cutting away well before it's formed on a regular basis now.
And Scotland This Week - which used to be at 4.30am-5.30am regional filler show full of 'highlights' from the week's news now appears to be shown in relative primetime at 6.30pm. They aren't even making an effort at repackaging it anymore, just showing the old presentation from throughout the week.
And God bless them at 7pm - the 'altogether' catchphrase returns, despite the fact that virtually no-one will have spotted their baffling press adverts putting that catchphrase across.
I assume also that this package, which is full of stories from Scotland Today, is also being shown in the former Grampian region. In which case that's less than reassuring for northern viewers.

Too difficult obviously. The timings were out most of yesterday. First they were too late in exiting the Network, and then they rejoined too early, resulting in the end of ITV1 trailers being repeatedly seen.
They have obviously settled on three idents as their favourites, and it is becoming so tedious. A new short ident at lunchtime was overlaid by a strapline that said Next: The X Factor.
