Hate to be nitpicky, but couldn't they at least update the ITV logo that is on the bottom of the page?

I'm told the official names will be STV North and STV Central.


According to http://www.stvsales.tv/content/default.asp?page=s2_2 (SMG Television Sales is now simply STV Sales), Grampian is now called STV North and Scottish is STV Central. Scottish West is STV Glasgow, Scottish East is STV Edinburgh, Grampian South is STV Dundee and Grampian North is STV Aberdeen.

I switched on Grampian before 6am this morning and the annoucer stated that The Jeremy Kyle Show was at 9.25am after GMTV. And that was it. No farewell to Grampian at all.

Shocking SMG! I cannot believe the way you closed down Grampian!

Why did SMG not do what LWT did in October 2002? They had a proper farewell!

Well 5 minutes to go. I'm glad SMG Television Sales is now STV Sales. That (hopefully) means STV productions will have their proper production slide.

Well, looked quite nice. Not too sure about the music though. It'll probably grow on me.

A nice little welcome announcement there. "We're all together Scotland. This is STV".

The ident actually looks not too bad. 100x better than the previous look. The logo is actually quite nice.

Same here. It seems to be all over the place.

As you say, we'll get used to it.

I liked it much nicer than the celeb look.Just one thing though Scotland is NOT altogether in South Scotland Border TV land we still have ITV 1.But at least i can watch STV on SKY.

The breakbumper just aired. It's just the STV logo on a blue and white background.
