I think they did something similar last year.
A spot of channel-hopping on the BBC on Sunday night.
The build-up to the Super Bowl starts on BBC Two at 2300, then switches to BBC One after MOTD2. The Women's Football Show then follows on BBC Two, instead of its usual slot on One.

I see Mark Chapman is back presenting it, presumably due to Dan Walker not working on Sundays. Gabby Logan will present MOTD2.

Presumably very unlikely to be on on location this year. I wonder which studio they will use. Probably something like they had for their Six Nations coverage. Perhaps they’ll use BT Sport’s studios as they do with the NFL show, although I guess that’s less likely if it’s a BBC Sport rather than a Whisper production.

Why would they do that when there is a perfectly decent English language commentary provided with the feed?
The effort and expense will go in to some kind of studio wraparound coverage, not replacing what will already do the job nicely.
Assuming this happens, with the short notice it might make sense for the production company to farm the commentary out to talkSPORT and have their commentators alternate. That said it’s unlikely to be anything other than the world feed especially with the time scale.

I'd fully expect it to be a Whisper production. Might be more of a squeeze getting Mark Chapman and the three pundits on the normal sofa. Maybe the big BT Sport studio will be available at that time of night?

Regardless of that and the fact he’d still have be working on the Sunday as he can’t just teleport to work at midnight. The way Dan Walker has worked in the past is that he’ll work into a Sunday from a Saturday. So by his logic he probably can’t do the early hours of Monday.
