Cricket highlights on the BBC reduced to 44 minutes last night - presumably due to rain affected play.

I see that the Snooker coverage has a feature "My Cue" where the players talk about their cue.
I expect that the follow up feature "My Balls" has been dropped due to lack of space?

Live Cricket finally makes the BBC with the Second T20 of this hastily rearranged series of one day internationals on Sunday being shown.

I read on twitter today that the 2nd Pakistan T20 will also be live on the BBC on Sunday 30th August so if true Live England Cricket on BBC on two consecutive Sunday Afternoons in a row but no confirmation as yet from BBC Sport.

Really nice new graphics for the Diamond League.
Turns out nobody had 2020 vision.

Indeed.

Hilariously bad YouTube livestream of yesterday's events, though.

Seems the BBC have live rights again this year as it was on the red button last night. Not sure if it was on Eurosport as well.

Hello, good evening, and remain indoors.

Eurosport didn't renew their UK rights. The BBC had highlight rights, and signed for the otherwise unsold live coverage in the past day or so, with the intention of either streaming or putting on the red button (one event clashes with a British event, so won't be shown live).

The danger is that, per reports in The Times, the BBC is not planning to renew its separate deal with UK Athletics, and if that isn't replaced somehow, the UK won't be able to afford to host a couple of Diamond League events.

Seems a long way away from my childhood, when both the BBC and ITV screened some of the equivalent events simultaneously.

First weekend of Gallagher Rugby, all in BT Sport, the extra match this afternoon at Bath is being covered on BTSX1. It has minimal production with ancillary commentary but the reduced numbers of cameras is quite noticeable, the natural stadium audio also mis-balanced and far too clear, coach comments from on the touch line far too audible.
