The BBC Sport app has a crowd-less Test Match special. You could live pause the telly to get it in sync.
Write that down in your copybook now.

At the moment what is being run isn’t really Super Rugby as we know it. While it’s being branded (effectively for sponsorship reasons) as if it were, what we really have is two separate tournaments in NZ and Australia, with derbies only and a team in each country on a bye each week. So there are only four games a week instead of the seven there would normally be, so a lot more time. NZ is playing a game on Sunday, so you have one game on a Friday (in Aus), two on a Saturday and one on a Sunday.

So yeah, much longer time slots. What is happening as well, at least with the NZ coverage, is that Sky (UK/Irl) are relaying the entire Sky NZ coverage including pre game, half time and post game (albeit the latter may be truncated if there’s an Australian game after) whereas traditionally coverage was little more than “whistle to whistle”.

All good points, but my observation is why Sky UK are now giving the Kiwi games quite generous schedule slots, but still squeezing the Wallabies into tight 1hr 45mins (or so) slots. The games get shown in their entirety which is the main thing, but they're dropping (most of) the pre & post-match stuff for the Aussies. But not the Kiwis.

I guess it is an ownership issue as Sky UK, Sky NZ and Foxtel all have different arrangements. Could also be product placement issues.

Sad to see Dave Clark go - is that with immediate effect or after the forthcoming Matchplay tournament?

Not sure if anyone has screened their Summer Series tournament this week but darts arguably missing the crowd more than most for 180s and nine dart finishes.

Mark Chapman is back on MOTD2 tonight, thoughts and prayers with him and his family in this difficult time but great to see one of the best sports broadcasters we have back where he belongs.

Dave Clark is to stop presenting Darts on Sky.

Sad to see Dave go, wish him all the best for the future. A great underappreciated presenter and will be missed by Sky Sports Darts

Wonder if Laura Woods will step up or will she prioritise her talksport breakfast commitments, David Croft is the obvious candidate but won't be available much from March-November with F1 or whether they will bring in someone else like Andy Goldstein who has presented coverage in the past.

Interesting to see on that site Whisper winning a contract to produce cricket in New Zealand.

The National League is delighted to confirm a streaming service will be in place to broadcast all play-off matches from the Vanarama National League North and South.

In partnership with BT Sport and Sportradar, each of the ten season-defining games will be shown exclusively live on a brand new platform, available to an audience across the world.

This starts on Sunday, with two sets of consecutive matches. Have Sportradar provided anything like this in the UK before?

Input Media also has a division in Australia producing Cricket. So it’s not that unusual.

Although it seems to be called Gravity Media now!

Yep, there was a big renaming of Gearhouse/Input Media/HyperActive/Chef into Gravity Media Group.
