Grr not looking forward to the Olympics partly being on Eurosport as their player's app refuses to load on my tv - it's only a Samsung 2015 model but it simply goes white when clicked on and then freezes requiring the TV to be rebooted.

Eurosport through amazon gets the servies but no names on each service.

Same here - mines a year or two older but Eurosport Player just stopped working a couple of years ago and rath'er than remove it they've left the dormant version on there.

A firestick is the easiest alternative.

Not exacly cheap through.

They’re about £40 and that’s when they’re not on offer.

A bit late to the party, but it's a shame Sky didn't renew the French Top 14 rugby, given that it's not being shown anywhere now. Sanzar is up for renewal this season I'm sure - if Sanzar goes then that'll be my Sky Sports subscription cancelled, and I'll just pay for the summer and autumn series on a monthly basis.

I thought they did but when I looked couldn’t find anything. Their present deal with SANZAAR runs out at the end of the upcoming season. It is a pity that the Top 14 is no longer shown on TV in the U.K. & Ireland when there’s so many channels dedicated to sport - it may be that the LNR are valuing their product a bit higher than what broadcasters are willing to pay.

Isn't the Lions tour sold through SANZAR? Do Sky already have the rights to that next year?

The Lions tours are negotiated, I believe, with the four home unions tours committee, not Sanzar. The SANZAR games are the rugby championship, Super rugby, and summer tours to the SANZAR countries, excluding Argentina.

Regards WWE, Aaron Chalmers quoted Channel 5's tweet about the deal this morning.

Eurosport Player had serious issues with live content at around 8:00 this morning with matches starting but not being available to stream, they are still fixing the issue some 9 hours later as there are still matches showing live when they have long since finished.
Watch it and find out.

Well if it can't cope with the Aussie Open at 8am on a Tuesday morning it has no chance come the Olympics.

Jumping so far it’d win you a medal - highly unlikely that would be down to demand. Especially given the time it has apparently taken to fix. And - like any technical problem - they’ll learn from what happened. If there is something that can be changed / improved anticipated then it’ll be done.
