Okay, this where it gets confusing. The EFL is simply known as the EFL (without a sponsor)

Quote:

The Football League was associated with a title sponsor between 1983 and 2016. As this sponsor changed over the years the league too has been known by various names. Starting with the 2016–17 season, the league has moved away from having a title sponsor, rebranding itself as the English Football League (EFL), in much the same way the Premier League is known as the "EPL" internationally.

However each division is sponsored by Sky Bet.

Quote:

The English Football League Championship (often referred to as the Championship for short or the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship reasons ) is the highest division of the English Football League (EFL) and second-highest overall in the English football league system after the Premier League.

So is Sky Bet sponsoring the international coverage? Or the Sky Bet logo referring to the sponsorship of the division itself. I think Ofcom will have to decide.

The rather sizeable time and score graphic at the top left in the Portugal-England women's game on BBC 4 has appeared and disappeared three or four times in the first five minutes or so.

Yes closely followed by the BBC logo being faded off and back on again as the score graphic disappears and returned. Like a game of cat and mouse.

The typhoon that's forecast to reach Japan this weekend, could affect Rugby World Cup matches. World Rugby has got contingency plans in place, to play the games, but, if an affected game was called off, and it was being broadcast here, during ITV Breakfast airtime, what would happen to advertising rights? What I mean is, that airtime would be allocated to the ITV regions and STV, with a predesignated slot, later on in the day, reverting to ITV for a period of time. If the game wasn't played, can the airtime be reallocated back?

We’re off with the UEFA Club Competitions UK rights offering now live. Reportedly ITV, Sky and BT all in play.

Are ITV / Sky joint bidding? Would like to see a return to Champions League to FTA. The competition has lost a lot of exposure being solely pay tv.

I could see ITV doing 2023's Champions League final since that's coming to Wembley. And that being on FTA would give it a lot of ratings.
