The state of coverage of European Domestic Football laid bare tonight ...

The Copa Del Rey FINAL no less, one of the Continent's biggest fixtures, not being shown anywhere.

And another upset too. Did anyone screen the Copa del Rey earlier rounds - did it get caught up in the Eleven Sports mess?

Hanging on showing replays of this season's La Liga games and documentaries. Still apparently planning to try and continue, whether they do is very much in the hands of the La Liga rights holders agents who are due to undertake a new rights sales process imminently. AFAIK their mid season, ITV / Premier / Eleven split was in place for the remainder of the 2018-9 season only.

Eleven did an odd deal for the semi finals only, because one was an El Classico. Not sure why they didn’t pick up the final while they were at it.

One of my Spanish colleagues had to resort to getting some US-based channel to watch his team in one of the earlier rounds. (He also confused me by referring to it as "the king's cup" - I don't think I'd heard anyone translate it before)
