Strangely worded tweet. It suggests that the show will now be on BBC Two instead of BT Sport!
Me thinks Ms Balding should have used the word 'also' instead of 'now'

Well the fact that she clearly states 'BT Sports' might give a clue.

Jon posted:
Roy Keane has been on premier league tv as well, Gary Lineker used to work on Al Jazerras Champions League coverage before they made the move to Doha.

Your post is a bit out of context but I think everyone would regard these cases as a differet kettle of fish.

Sorry I forgot to quite the original poster.

End of an era on RTE's rugby union coverage tonight with the simultaneous retirements of anchor Tom McGuirk and pundit George Hook.

That's two people retiring from that anchor chair within a year. Bill left last summer.

Hopefully Michael Lyster, the main GAA anchor, has a few years left. He's in the chair a long time (since 1984) but was very young when he started.

Irritation

BT overlaying transparent dog-like MotoGP new season advert every few minutes, well seems like that.

Interesting that BT Sport were bidding for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight (although beaten by Sky PPV). I assume that they (BTS) were prepared to start a PPV offering if they were successful. A noteworthy development in their strategy ahead.

Bear in mind that they currently show UFC PPV events on their main channels - in the US these are $50 a go (or an extra $10 for HD).

That said, I see Sky are going to be charging £25 for Mayweather-Pacquiao, so perhaps you're on to something.
