Given the poster probably BT Sport.

I'm pretty sure the Health Lottery and OK! TV weren't the same studio or set.

BBC Sport emphasising that they have FA Cup rights now, running on red button a repeating 35 minute edit down of the 2014 Final, using 5live commentary.

Major Rights Retention

BSB retain rights to all England Rugby exc World Cup and Six Nations till 2020. BT lose out again. Not a very good month for them.

Slightly surprising given BT's efforts to position itself as the home of English rugby - then again, their alliance is with PRL rather than the RFU and they annoyed a lot of people with their conduct around the European rugby rights.

I take it that Sky have abandoned all live sports broadcasting in 3D. Don't think I've seen any Premier League fixtures trailed in the format this season.

Sky seemed to make a big content push for 3D TV but it appears to have fizzled out quickly.

Does seem to be the case - most sporting events seem to have stopped experimenting with it too - don't think any of the World Cup was in 3D.

The TV manufacturers have switched to funding 4K trials as the next way to get people to think their TV is outdated.

I suspect 3D will make a return in about 4 years when it will be "more believable than ever" (but need a new TV) to fill the gap until 8K TVs become mainstream.

The BBC has confirmed today that they will be televising the Warrington Town vs Exeter City match on Friday 7th November on BBC TWO for the first round of The FA Cup.

I intend on going to the game myself, but great to see the BBC showing this match to start their FA cup coverage.

That explains why I couldn't find anything on the Saturday or Sunday then other than the previously announced Final Score.
