Doesn't Gary Lineker front their Champions League coverage too?

Doesn't he do there 3pm Saturday kick-off?

I'll have a look next time im watching it.

Well here is Gary fronting their Al Jazeera Champions League coverage, it also looks like they are back in their regular set presumably upgraded to HD.

If you are wondering who the pundits were it was Ray Clemence, Ruud Gullit and Steve McManaman.

Unusually, on the post match analysis of the Ireland v Australia game today, there was no full time scoreline in the bottom left hand corner. Probably an oversight.

Perhaps an Aussie was in charge of graphics!

No such problems on RTÉ (naturally) although when I first started watching the match, the commentary seemed to be coming in ahead of the pictures. This made me promptly switch over to ITV where there were no such issues.
Interesting to note as well thar RTÉ also take interviews straight from ITV, Gabriel Egan talking to Paul O Connell and Ronan O Gara were both shown on RTÉ

They're international 'pooled' interviews available to all rights holders. During the 2007 RWC 5 Live were using them, I expect TalkSport are this time.

This year's Sports Personality of the Year is heading to Salford - and back to the studio, so no big arena show this year.

It was annoying during the anthems, it seemed for whatever reason that the commentators microphones were about three seconds behind the audio from the stadium resulting in a weird echo effect. Switched to Setanta for the anthems and then back to RTÉ afterwards.

Could anyone tell me who was presenting/analyst/commentating C5's boxing coverage on Saturday.
Thanks in advance

Wondering whether the choice of Brighton v Liverpool tomorrow in the Carling Cup is a genuine on merits choice, or whether SS are taking the advantage that they're scheduled to be covering a Championship match at the same stadium on Friday, thus avoiding the need to de-rig and re-rig at another stadium on Thursday.

Five Live are doing the same game tomorrow and out of the remaining games, only really the Chelsea game could have been picked.

A convenient coincidence I'd wager. I'd also wager Friday's game was moved to accommodate this.
