I can't remember the last time it was on on Christmas Eve - I know for a fact that two years ago it was on at about 2pm on Christmas Day though - and that's hardly a time when the whole family can settle down and watch it - hence my petition.
It usually is on 24 Dec, although it has moved around of late as you say. I seem to remember five years ago it was on something like the 28 Dec if I recall.
Good on you for getting a response out of C4 though
