The Saturday Show does seem a bit....empty and boring. But I am sure it will get better as the weeks pass on. When Ant and Dec leave SM:TV, it will become another Live and Kicking failure..and I reckon the beeb will win back the saturday morning audience by the improved Saturday Show (which it will be by then). Just give the beeb a chance thats all! :

Well I missed it - i didn't wake up until 12.30 this afternoon. I was watching BBC News 24 until 4.00am.
Does anyone have any screenshots of the presenters?? and the set!

Not necessarily, When Ant and Dec took 6 weeks off to present Slap Bang, Cat along with Louise presented SM:TV Live and it was still almost as good (Features such as Chums and Cat the Dog continued)
The saturday show's format is ****
! The viewers dont even ask the guests questions like L&K did. The cartoons???? Sumo Wrestlers? What ****
is that? Even with SMTV showing Scooby Doo its still better! I liked L&K from 1993-1998 and Fully booked from 1998-1999. That format needs bringing back as it was hugely sucessful. No babyish puppets really- only MR. Blobby and he appeals to adults and the leprichauns but they were quite good. Bring back the good old format not a mixture of a prime-time game show, a chat show and a pre-school programme.

SUMO-WRESTILING???!!!!!!
Anyhow, did anyone think that the very last live and kicking was excellent.
If they could all be of that quality it wouldn't of been axed.

Firstly, james2001, stop all the swearing, it's not big and it's not clever, and it's very frustrating continually seeing **** in posts.
Secondly, I agree with Andrew about SMTV without Ant and Dec, it was still good without Ant and Dec, but only because of Cat. Louise was, to put it bluntly, useless, as she is a SINGER and not a presenter. When oh when will they realise the it should be presented by either a presenter or a comedian? Anyone see it when Brian Connelly presented? He was fantastic!!!
I have emailed SMTV about the rumours of Ant and Dec leaving and suggested replacements. I think the combination of Cat, Edith Bowman and Russell Brand would work a treat, as there is great chemistry between Cat and Edith on Hitlist UK and between Edith and Russell (one hell of a funny guy!) on Select MTV. I hope that they take heed of my suggestions, and don't go for that dull James Redmond geezer (Finn out of Hollyoaks).
Apparently Big Brother winner, gay Brian, is being lined up as a replacement for the ITV show. He's been signed up by the show's production company (I think it's Zenith)
SM:TV wouldnt work without Ant and Dec. If cat leaves- thats curtains down from SM:TV Live. Id like CDUK to go so that the chart show could be re-instated.
