The Royal

Hello everyone - just found this site, so may now get my question answered.

The hospital which is featured in The Royal, which has just started a new series on Sunday evenings.
Where is the building actually situated?
I know it is not in Scarborough, or Whitby.
I did read about it some time ago - but can't for the life of me remember where it is.

The building representing the hospital is actually in Scarborough, but is made up of flats. However, all interior shots are done in a disused hospital wing in Bradford.

That is where I was getting mixed up then - I remember Bradford being mentioned now.

I wonder whereabouts in Scarborough. I have been to the south side, where quite a lot of the outdoor shots are done. But I don't recall seeing that building.
There again - I was last there before The Royal came on TV.
