There is a bigger problem,its claimed the BBC covered up the story last year, and worse still people in the BBC may have known what MIGHT have been going one years ago. It could up open a can of worms and push the BBC once again throw the mud.

Yawn.

Leave this kind of tawdry crap to the Mail, Sun, Express and ITV and the rest of the reactionary holier-than-thou media who seem to take pleasure in raking up dead ghosts for the ghoulish public "interest."

None of this will serve any useful purpose except to sell papers and advertising. Savile was investigated while he was alive and nothing was proven. Why bother now?

Also, discussion on this is pretty much DS territory. You'll find more braindead morons over there willing to offer an opinion on this rubbish.

A lot of 'ifs' here, but if these allegations are true, and if there was a cover-up in the BBC which allowed this sort of behaviour to continue, then surely it's hugely in the public interest?

I'm not sure 'hugely' simply because the passage of time is so great. I don't see how this relates to TV presentation either.
