I think the one show was very good last night; Jason is a great replacement for Adrian my only issue is he is a bit tense but it was probably just nerves. He has some quality’s Adrian in my view didn’t have he’s warm and welcoming and seems like a normal guy from a normal background.

Alex was good also and her parternership with Jason looked a strong one, she had a few timing issues and got a bit high pitched at times.

The reports were good and a brilliant guest to start off with and I think the show will be better to have a change because these two are good and Jason's Jokes bring a new dimension to the show in my view.

Did we watch the same programme? - I thought Alex was Aweful, it was as if you could see her thinking, I got the impression that Whoopi thought Alex was a bit awkward as well.

Jason on the other hand, was utterly superb.

I cant see Alex lasting very long if she continues to be this poor. Bring Gabby Logan back, she's been superb for the last few weeks.

Alex was good but not excellent and does need to improve Gabby and Louise were quite good but she goes well with Jason and could become good.

Clearly not.

I think Jason's excessive jokes were perhaps down to nerves? Otherwise I think he did a great job, and had a natural rapport with Whoopi Goldberg and Tommy. I must concede I was unsure of Jason Manford's appointment for the One Show, wasn't sure if he was the right person for the job (more suited to panel shows): However I warm to Jason Manford as a person, far more than I ever did to Adrian Chiles (I've seen happier-looking bloodhounds), and Jason seems to be more 'natural' at presenting it than his grumpy (IMO) predecessor.

I agree Alex needs to relax a little, understandable considering the pressure-- but I have no problem with her on first impressions. Once things settle down and they get used to each other, I think they'll complement each other really well. Fingers crossed Smile

I hope when you all get your opportunity to present a live prime time flagship magazine programme on the most-watched television channel in the UK for the first time ever following a blaze of publicity, you'll be so much more better.

You don't need the word 'more' in your last sentence.

That's because the news is pre-recorded a day in advance.
