I suspect the clips of the show featured in Rev are the first time The One Show was shot in HD and the only time with the two former presenters.
Anyway, here is the clip which also features some brief gallery shots.
Nope. The One Show scenes in Rev were upconverted SD, shot using The One Show's SD facilities, long before any HD upgrades had taken place. The only HD stuff will have been the behind-the-scenes camera.
I suppose 'The Impressions Show' sketches work the same way?
I see promos for the 'new' One Show with Jason Manford and Alex Jones are now running . . . showing the new presenters 'getting comfy' on the (current) One Show sofa. No mention of Chris Evans though . . .
Saw the new adverts. Cheesy. I hate Alex Jones. Jason Manford makes me metaphorically puke. I wanted Christine to stay.
Ok, I don't hate Alex Jones. But still.
I don't wish to offend but I do not see the point of your post. You do not offer any justification of your hatred of Alex Jones (although you later retract this). Do you dislike her because she's Welsh and because she's replacing Christine? Do you dislike her because she's not from Northern Ireland (given that you receive BBC Newsline and UTV)? If those provide the sole basis upon which you draw your conclusions and beliefs then I think it's time that you put your drawing books and crayons away. It's time to cross your arms and rest your head for a while. Have you watched Alex Jones? Did she do a piece to camera which went against every belief and conviction you have? Did it offend you? Or is she useless at reading from an autocue? Because if you judge the capability and talent of personalities on television solely by a few articles in the press or by very little television exposure, then your apparent opinion of Christine Bleakley belies this position. Indeed, Bleakley has little television exposure outside of Northern Ireland prior to her role on The One Show (how is this any different to Alex Jones on S4C?); she has sought publicity for her charitable causes (as has Jones); and has adapted to being tabloid fodder like a duck takes to water. I'm not saying that you are wrong. All I'm asking is that if you are going to make a statement or post a comment with such a broad statement, then please explain and justify yourself.
By the way, do not split your infinitives: does Jason Manford make you metaphorical or does he make you puke metaphorically?

Thanks for the concern. I appreciate it. I just don't see what the new duo will add to the programme. The show should be bigger than the presenters. Well, I'm sorry, I shall split my infinitives in future times.
In other words, why does Angellica Bell seem to be wearing coats all the time?

Are you being sarcastic? He wasn't expressing any concern for you, and you've failed to answer his questions entirely.
And what do you mean, "in other words"? Do you mean, "on another subject"?
In conclusion - you are weird.
