The One Show

They are not going to make big changes for guest presenters are they? The graphics were slightly smaller as is the fashion with HD and I think the studio bits may have been brighter but that was it.

New sofa but very much in the same style and colour. The set did look slightly different though - can't figure out why - but pretty much the same.

Graphics have been made smaller and animate, assumably due to the HD move.

It's a different 'studio' isn't it? I'm not a regular viewer but the office space they're now using seems to be in more of a corner than the old one, it looks a lot more light and airy than it did before.

Exactly the same studio with the pieces in roughly the same positions.

New sofa, and some subtle changes to other set pieces.

The floor is shinier and now all blue.

Ah maybe that's it, it seems a lot brighter.

A good return tonight I thought, the two presenters worked well together, there was a good guest, the reports were still to the usual high standard and there was a good atmosphere in the studio.

I wonder whether finding a new golden couple to present The One Show is actually that important, the other elements are just as, possibly more important

Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday : Jason and Katie Derham
Thursday : Jason and Gabby Logan
Friday : Chris and Gabby

How random, why?

Is that Chris and Gabby on Friday or Chris and Gaby (Roslin)?

Gabby Logan on thursday on friday.

basicly Katie has proms and arts commitments and Gabby (Logan) also does a lot of other work involved in sport and radio . and they were both my first and secound choices for co-host .

and how is it random ?
