This just struck me as the typically obvious sort of thing the BBC will do - the new THE ONE trailers will see set to a soundtrack of 'The Ones - Flawless' - that pretty damn awful track used on BBC CHOICE presentation last November. It's just the kinda thing the BBC will do to make BBC ONE 'hip and trendy'...

Just a thought...

I think the link is too tenuous to be practicable. Many people know the song, but not who it's by, so it's unlikely that they'd choose that song over any other solely on name of the group.

I'm hoping that there'll be some specially composed music, such as was used when GLR was relaunched as 94.9FM BBC London Live... I really liked that music. I hope they don't cop out with a terrible pop song.

There is also a 'The One' billboard on Green Lane, Leamore, Walsall, by the railway bridge !!!

I asked my friends if they knew what 'The One' billboards meant. Well they didn't know. I think it looks quite obvious with three squares and the current BBC One font. How many of the billboards are there? So far I have only seen two of them where I live.

I drove back from the Wirral through Liverpool to my house today in Brighouse - saw none up to Brighouse but then saw three within the space of half a mile... clever hey

Yep theres one by the back of Sunwin House, and another up by the Railway Station!

I'm interested how this promotion with the massive 'The One' will actually extend to the screen, and how many people will actually see the new look BBC One and put 2 and 2 together.

After all, its practically a certainty, that the BBC One logo will be much less prominant on the idents itself, squashed in the bottom corner

This might sound wierd but I've only just noticed there is one on a large billboard at the end of my road! I haven't noticed it before but saw it as I went for my paper this morning! Lol!

Well heres a suggestion why isn't the BBC showing the Matrix this easter? It's about now that they should be showing it (it was on some TVN, a polish channel last night, I've never seen a premiere so heavily sponsored, I can tell you!!)

The BBC can use the tagline the one to back there campaign up.

He is the One!!!!!

The One !!

Oh isn't this lovely.

A mass of adverts and posters that mean **** all, infecting the nation like a deadly plague.

And how much has this all cost, you may well ask?

Only a few million, will be the BBC's reply.

Bless 'em.

And what is 'The ONE,' exactly?

The One that brings us such entertainment as Animal Hospital, Kilroy and The Generation Game?

I'm sure there is logic in the BBC's insanity. It's just that the 60 million people in this country are yet to find it.

i've only seen one of the billboards, in sutton coldfield town centre.

i personally dont like the poster, 'THE' does not look right in the 3 boxes IMO.  im sure they could have come up with something a little more imaginative.
