do you think all BBC channels will go to the upper programme details thingy?

I think each channel will have its own trailer format and presentation style, all held together by the red box.

I think if news 24 get a box they should do it at the same time as their up and coming grafics tart up which hopefully will include nice red warm graphics like, mhh, BBC WORLD for instance.

When the news of the new look first came along I was like 'What?! No, you can't!', but now I'm like 'Go for it!'

just to point out that at the press conference with the athlete man (i forget his name) the sign on the mic on the desk said

NEWS

in the style of the purple box on Two, but this with a red background . Just FYI, and i've never seen them do the sign on the mic thing - seems very US networky

They use it quite frequently.

And BBC NEWS ONLINE had a very nice BBC SPORT Breaking News Image today about the scottish athlete. It was very very cool. Nice and blue.

So they've started the teasers already then, I'll keep an eye out for those billboards tommorrow. They'll be spots held by the BBC for a long time, if I remember correctly.

Despite my reservations about what the new look will bring, if they get it right then of course a revitalised BBC ONE could only be a good thing. If they get it right!
