A Very good ending, everything seemed to tie together so nicely and I think it has gone out on a high, with David being popular and Tim and Dawn being very happy.
Though these episodes have been slightly more drama than comedy they have been up to an excellent standard, especially tonight's.

Yes agreed, wasn't it lovely when Dawn opened up the oil paints and came back for Tim, dumping that PIG of a husband. Glad it has ended on a high.

I don't find it funny either. I sat through the first shows of series 1 and thought I was watching a real, serious documentary! I couldn't understand why my parents were laughing so much at it....... leaves me cold.....
You need to appreciate the environment of working in an office, to appreciate it. The petty office politics, awful bosses, awkward misfits, and the trivialness of most of the day.
I put tThe Office in the category of Those that failed which also incude.
- I'm Alan Partridge
- The Royle Family.
That probably says it all, you just don't like this genre of comedy; although all overated they all deserved to be made. Likewise i'm not a fan of Bo Selecta, I can appreciate it, but I wouldn't sit down to watch it, or rave about it.

I've worked in many offices and if you act like any of that in them, you would either get sacked, or more likely, moved.

You seem to have some personal vendetta against Ricky Gervais. Granted the programme wasn't as good as the series on 2, but give them credit for not bowing down to Jane Root and the viewers by admitting that the prog should be ended now (Saturday).
Oh right, so because I dont like Mr Nobody, its a 'personal vendetta'.
Like your logic there.

Perhaps, but you would have thought that The Office, being more 'true to life' would be more accessible. Its just the tool of some ridiculously inflated ego of a nobody (aka Gervais).

Well quite, but if you want to take that stance, Del and Rodney would have been thrown in jail a few years ago, Fawlty Towers would have closed after two months and no one would ever employ Alan Partridge.

I really enjoyed the second special. Great comedy moments and I was even moved to tears when dawn opened the oil paints present and came back for tim. I also thought it was lovely how david seemed to find a natural 'click' with his new lady.
