Just watching the first series of the office again on DVD. Anyone know when the second series is coming out ? It is absolutley brilliant humour. the little bits of Tim and the others looking at the camera as if to say - what the hell is this guy talking sbout.
The second series of the Office will be out on DVD in mid October. As a side order to this public information request, the second series of Pheonix Nights will be out two weeks earlier than the Office.
Of course this can not be out done by something better than that, coming later this month is a DVD featuring He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. I'm thinking they are releasing anything on DVD nowadays!
The Office- the unfunniest supposed comedy series ever- I don't consider it the least bit amusing, just silly. Ever time I see that Gervasis guy doing that silly dance, I want to punch him in the face. It's not funny at all.
BTW, in the way of decent comedy DVDs- OFAH series 6 somes out later this month, Red Dwarf series 3 out November 3rd.
That's the problem - I really like The Office, but too many people have picked up on the dance, and frankly ruined it. Trying to make it something more than it is (I'm watching you Radio Times)
People who comment negatively about this programme obviously don't get the idea of it as it relies on subtle humour and refrains from too obvious jokes. Although I miss some of the subtle jokes throughout the programme I quite like scenes such as Tim's reactions to the computer geek and the infamous motivation speech both from Series 2 episode 4. Although there are some other good moments which appear at different parts in both series.

You've got better perception than me then - I sat through most of the first series and thought it was a real docusoap......
