I'm quite liking Darren McMullen as host of the show. It's nice to see a relatively unknown person presenting a prime-time(?) programme for a change.

I liked him on Minute to Win It the few times I saw him, I suspect he or Steve Jones will host next years final series of The Voice.

I notice that the voice over on the Magicians is one Mitch Johnson, ex Live and Kicking, who it's nice to hear again doing live TV. Possibly chosen because his experience from L&K means he can cope with pretty much any situation including having to do this kind of thing to fill in should anything go badly wrong?

That vid shows he can easily handle problems.
