Here's a video of it from +1, uploaded using Metropol instead of YouTube, because we all know how much Channel 4 loves to take down any frame of content that has ever aired on its channel.

(The video player for me on desktop using Flash seems to squish it to 4:3 - right click and select 'stretching' until it displays properly. Alternatively use the link below)

So C4 air their biggest drama in 23 years - not a comment.

They break down for a couple of minutes and it's posted here within seconds.

That's TV Forum! Wink

This place has always prioritised presentation before programming.

Yet a breakdown still gets more discussion than the news C4 is to rebrand in the autumn.

I'm sure there will be pages upon pages for you to read when it actually does.
What more can be added to an announcement, really?

What is ridiculous with that is how long it took BBC2 to put a card up. Channel 4 were quicker off the mark tonight, and we just got various colour bars with BT writing, rather than a full on advert for their transmission services like on that occasion.

Ok but on the Bbc2 case it went straight to that BT "advert" - it's not like bbc2 left it so long that that came on. The c4 thing was a bit different

Weird that it came back for ten seconds too

The first repeat of this is 11pm today (Saturday 27th) on 4seven, so I presume we'll be able to see what we missed on the live broadcast.

It came back via the reserve line which has a separate booking, but alas that also went down a few seconds later. Looks like a line booking failure.

It's not really a BBC or C4 thing though is it ? Both broadcasters employ Red Bee, so why would Red Bee treat a BBC breakdown any differently to C4's ?
