Yep, going into ultra-sad mode now and we were looking at 11.09:30 for Duck so it seems very definite there will be a gap of a least five minutes tonight.
OMG! Since when has BBC Two Wales gone to Pages from Ceefax at 1.35am??!! Blimey, that's one helluva opportunity! Eek, what do I do? I think I'll stick with the Network. If only Sky's Personal Planner was more powerful!
Cheers, Asa

What's there to be sad about?! A closedown's generally what we are anticipating over here!

BBC TWO are finishing at 1.55am
BBC TWO Wales at 1.30am
BBC TWO Scotland at 1.45am
BBC TWO Northern Ireland at 1.55am
Everyone has BBC Learning Zone from 2.
Plus there is loads of time-shifting going on, with all 3 nations starting their shows at different times, from now onwards.
Could be interesting in the Nations?

I wasn't being sad about the closedown - that's definitely anticipated! I was referring to the fact I gave such a precise time!
And Billy, I'm right
Powder was definitely at 6.45am - I have it on tape somewhere! Maybe Earlie was in a 'Nation'?

Could I at this point apologise for tempting fate just three weeks ago?
Whoops!

And thinking about the BBC2 idents in particular, I still firmly believe they will continue, and will still be around this time next year.
Imagine the TV Forum had been in existence, say, 4 1/2 years ago, in the spring of 1997. At that point:
1) The current idents had been in use for six years, the average lifespan of BBC2 idents in the past.
2) It was over two years (February 1995) since any new regular idents had been introduced (Steam and Diary).
3) There was the imminent launch of a brand new BBC logo.
Three factors which, you might think, would point towards forthcoming new BBC2 idents in the autumn of 1997. WRONG!!
This time round, the evidence is much more flimsy. 1) BBC3 and BBC4 are supposed to launch next year. 2) Lorraine Heggessey doesn't like the BBC1 balloons very much, so they MIGHT change. And...well that's it.
Hardly firm evidence that BBC2 will change as well. If the BBC2 '2' was going to be dropped, it would have been in 1997 when everything else changed. But it stayed. The BBC2 '2' has become an icon, and, in much the same way as the Channel 4 '4', I think will run and run for many years to come, just in ever more new and different forms.

11:35 Optic
11:45 Blade (Don't forget this was not shown evrywhere at 1pm)
12:45 Kebab (1, 2 or 3)
1:55 Closedown with '2' montage!?
I didn't pick Aerial as it was shown before Robot Wars last nite, I reckon that was the last showing, Optic hasn't been seen today either!
