The Hour, a new exciting daily show on STV, will bring the best of Scotland to the small screen, with stories and features from across the country.
Hosted by our very own Stephen Jardine, the show will be packed with new features - from cooking, gardening, fashion and makeovers, to health and fitness, books, film and music - and at the very heart of the show are the people and places of Scotland.
It will run every weekday from 5pm, starting next Tuesday 26 May and each week, a different guest host will join Stephen on the sofa. Several exciting big names - famous faces from Scotland and beyond - have already signed up.
Kaye Adams will be the first guest presenter on the show, and will join Stephen in the studio for Tuesday's opening show. Connie Fisher and Michelle McManus will co-present the programme with Stephen in the following weeks, and a host of other famous guest presenters will join the show throughout the year, including Carol Smillie, Dawn Steele, Dorothy Paul and Cat Harvey.
STV's favourite girl next door, Vicky Lee, will continue to present her popular makeover slot, Fashion Hijackers, as well as her regular feature Mission Vicky and Grant Lauchlan will keep on chatting to all the hottest A-list film stars in his weekly film club.
The show will also introduce an array of new faces and talent including gardener Pete Jackson, fashion expert Chris Hunt and award-winning chefs Tom Kitchin and Sue Lawrence.
Stephen Jardine said: "This is one of the biggest and most exciting TV shows ever to be launched in Scotland and I'm delighted to be part of it."
"The Hour will be a celebration of life in modern Scotland, and we’ll provide great entertainment and relaxation at the end of a busy day."
