Hey, how come the US gets a modernised version of their old show, but all we get is a carbon copy of theirs (water and all)? There's nothing particularly wrong with the old G logo, people would recognise it and by changing it they're missing a trick there. If it doesn't look like the show people remember, that's one less reason to care about it.
Unless I'm missing something and it's a case of LWT/ITV owning the rights to the old branding?
Richard O'Brien won't host it again, I'm pretty certain of that.
Russell Brand (love him or loathe him) would be perfect for it in this day and age. Mind you, Channel 4 would probably bring it back with the likes of Jimmy Carr.
If they can have the exact same set then I would definately like to see The Crystal Maze back no matter who hosts it (in fact I quite liked Edward ''but you can call me ed'' Tudor Pole possibly better than Richard).
Anyway back on topic - that logo just looks like a cheap rendition of the American Gladiators logo (also why is it that all shows in america has to have american at the begining) and I don't like that to start with. Our logo was always the bestest [sic] and it should NEVER EVER be changed, they *might as well not revive it at all since noone will remmember it or people will think it is a different programe (or movie).
